FSSAI Bans Plastic Packaging for Pan Masala, Mandates Tin or Glass Only

India's food safety authority has prohibited the use of plastic materials in the packaging of pan masala products. Manufacturers will now be required to use only tin or glass containers for packaging pan masala.
